Drives D: and E: missing

Hey guys!

I recently started having a problem with my Windows 8.1 drives. More specifically, drives D: and E: have disappeared from the Quick Access.

I did some research online, and I found that one way of fixing this is renaming the drives. However, after checking my Disk Management, I seem to not be able to do that (Screenshot below).

Please note that this happened last week as well. However, I simply restarted my PC and the issue was solved. Obviously, it did not work this time.

Any help would be more than appreciated.

Thanks!

Michel

EDIT 1: I also tried rescanning disks, nothing shows up.

Hello, and thank you!

No, the drives D and E have completely disappeared from both the quick access and the disk management (as shown in the screenshot). Only drives C and F remain.
