is it safe? it's from driver support and was on my home page as an update for dell PCs. not sure if it is save or not.

I think I read somewhere: if it (the driver) is not on the computer manufacturer's web site, or on the chipset, component, hardware device, manufacturer's web site, said driver just might not be the best thing to download and use.

If you put in you tag number on dells site you should get the drivers for your specific pc

I tried that once, and they told me that because the PC was no longer under warranty I would need to pay for updates to this PC.
it's a dell 660s inspiron.
