Hi, all. I want to download the latest Device Drivers for my system onto a USB flash drive.
1. Should I download the drivers to my hard drive (c: drive) and then copy and paste them over to the USB flash drive. Or is it OK to download them directly onto the USB flash drive?

2. When I install the drivers is it OK to select the drivers on the USB drive and install them directly from the USB stick? I don't know if you have to copy them over to a folder on the Computers hard disc (C: drive ) first and then install them from there?

Ive never done this before and Im unfamiliar with USB flash drives. If I select the device drivers on the USB stick will it correctly install to the C: drive (hard drive) or will it attempt to install to the USB flash drive?
Im sorry if this seems like a dumb question

Yes, one can download the device drivers [if such are EXE, ZIP, MSI installs] onto any reliable media, be it internal or external. I have done so with my two Acer laptops. As long as you know which physical device goes with which EXE or ZIP or MSI -- I see no problem with what you're wanting to do. Device driver installs normally do not care from which media they're launched from as long as the said installs "find" their respective targets.
