When installing drivers, should we always run as admin?

Hi all,

Simple question, when installing drivers (any type), should we always run them as administrator or is it ok to run them without selecting "Run as Administrator"?

i.e. What is the best practice?

I ask because I'm creating a personalised driver disk for a client but my batch files can't run the executables as an admin (even with using the shortcut trick).

Until someone with more expertise in Windows steps in...It is my experience, if running as admin is necessary, you will be prompted to do so. I would say, however, if there are multiple users accounts on the computer, it would probably avoid any potential problems if you run as admin.
