This one has me baffled.

My computer monitor is displaying all colors accurately. but any time i save an image to my computer, the saved picture files has a pinkish appearance to it. For example, when i take a screen shot and directly save it to the hard drive, the saved file image has a pinkish hue when compared to the the content on the screen. If i copy and paste the image from the clipboard it is fine, until i save it.

More specifically my monitor created a color management profile that didn't jive. I had to go to the control panel - color management, and remove the color ICC profile that the monitor created and re-established the default sRGB IEC61966-2.1 color profile.

DVI tried to ruin my life for the second time. these DVI issues are not easy to figure out, unless you have previous experience.

Interesting. Except for the large connectors, I actually prefer DVI as HDMI has caused me (and many others) endless troubles.
