Have the aforementioned tablet, and it ceased to operate a couple of weeks ago.

Tried the following with no results:
1. Charging the tablet overnight with its own adapter.
2. Used identical adapter from a friend's 1010QW and charged it overnight.
3. Pressed the Back button and the Power button for a reset.
4. Pressed the Power button for 30 seconds, and then again for 15 seconds.

Warranty expired in April 2016.
Went to BestBuy, but got nowhere. They had no answers for my questions, and would give no estimate of what repairs would cost.

Finally opened up the tablet, and could not see anything that seemed broken or disconnected. Most of the workings of this tablet are sealed.

Anyone have any clue of what to try to get this 1010QW to work?

Thanks for any help!! :)

Have you tried to contact iView? Here's their contact number from their website: 1(909) 627-9888

I would ask them how to do a reset or even a factory reset. A factory reset should be avoided, if possible, since you will lose all of your installed apps/programs and data. On tablets I have used, you can often press and hold one of the volume control buttons and the power button to reset the tablet. Don't know if yours has that feature or not.

Thanks for the reply!

Did contact iView. Their suggestion was to push the power button for 30 seconds, and then again for 15 seconds.
As far as a reset, tried doing that quite a few times. For this tablet you press the Back button and the Power button.

Maybe the best thing is to buy something else...
