does win 8 support a polaroid I 631 digital camera

Not too computer savvy. Hooked camera to laptop, camera powered up , no response from laptop. Does this mean they are not compatable. Have no software with this camera. Thanks in advance

My advice would be is to go to the polaroid support page and lookup your camera model and see if you can find drivers for Win 8 preferably but if they only have Win 7 it will probably work, You have to make sure your on their official page because most other sites are some type of scam.

If that does not work you may be able to see your camera show up as a external drive in File Explorer.

Sml156 , Can I ask you to link me to the official polaroid site? I emailed them but no response. Every site I try asks to make changes to my puter and every time I do that they change my brouser . Thank You Tim

Polaroid doesn't even list this camera any more. When searched It says not found

I just figured out that my laptop has a SD drive so use SD card in camera and slide it in laptop. DOH. A puter wizard I aint . Thanks Tim
