Hello!
Recently got a new laptop with 8.1, moving over some files from an external drive. The safely remove hardware icon isn't showing up near the notification area. It doesn't even show in the "Turn system icons on or off" settings.
Using cmd, I was able to get the window up with this command:
rundll32 shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll
However when trying eject it from there it tells me the drive cannot be stopped or removed.
The external works fine on my other computers.
Anyone have any ideas on what going on or how to fix it?
