Hey guys, how are you all doing?

I've just moved my internal 2TB HDD to an external enclosure and now I can't access it.
As soon as I plug it in, it asks for formatting. I tried running chdkdsk /f but it doesnt work because it's telling me that its file format is RAW. It was NTFS when connected to my mobo.

I have a lot of files there, I need to access them without corrupting the hdd.

How should I proceed guys?

Have you double checked that the power and data connectors inside the enclosure are correctly and completely connected? If this is a 3.5" drive, do you have it powered up? Can you hear the drive spinning or feel any vibration? Is this a new enclosure? It could be that the enclosure is defective.

You may want to move the drive back into your computer temporarily to verify your files are still intact. If the files are still intact and if they're important then make a backup before proceeding.
