Win 8.1 Not Booting From USB

So I have a win 8.1 preinstalled 64 bit. I have a Lenovo y-40. My hard drive crashed possibly due to hibernation file error. I have the Win 8.1 USB prepared using Rufus. I have UEFI Boot.

Step 1:

Reset the UEFI firmware (BIOS) settings back to the factory defaults.

Lenovo UEFI firmware (BIOS) settings.
- Exit; OS Optimized Defaults: Win8 64bit
- Boot; Boot Mode: UEFI
- Security; Secure Boot: Enabled

Step 2:

Do you have a UEFI boot mode compatible Windows 8.1 64-bit USB flash drive?
