I have a WINBOOK TW700 tablet running Win-8.1. The device supports Connected Standby mode and DOES NOT support Sleep States S1, S2, or S3. When I sleep the device, it goes dark as expected. Pressing the power button will "wake" it again without incident. However, Windows Task Scheduler doesn't wake the device at the appointed time even when the "Wake the PC to run this task" box is checked. Since S3 isn't supported, there is no Sleep line-item within the Power Options dialog for me to check "Allow Wake Timers." So my question is this:
Is it possible to configure the device so that a scheduled task can wake the device from Connected Standby and, if so, how do I do that?
Thanks,
cw
