I try to keep additional stuff installed by different apps, hardware-related software & drivers to a minimum level.
As you all know default nVidia installation setup installs a lot of stuff most of us may not need. I typically disable 3D drivers (don't game at all) and PhysiX driver. I can't get rid of nVidia audio driver even though I use a separate sound card . Well, I can live with it...
However I do wonder if I actually need the WMI driver. The driver description suggest I do as it's related to communication with displays. Can anyone advise me on that? Can I remove this or is it necessary for proper system operations?
