I have windows 8.1 and 2 HDD's. One of them, which has 1TB became slow a few days ago, and also getting some I/o errors when trying to access data stored on it.
This morning, when I booted my pc, when the windows logo appeared it started to scan for drive errors.
I opened File explorer and discovered that the two partitions I had on this HDD are missing.
So, I looked into disk management and it says that I must initialize that disk with GUID or MBR before Local Disk MAnagement can access it and also that this HDD is "Unallocated"??? Don't tell me I lost this data...
Any advice would be appreciated. Also, could I recover those files.
Thank you in advance
