Windows 8.1 Network Drivers disappeared overnight

A few months ago, I was watching a live stream on Twitch and had my laptop plugged in via an Ethernet cord. After awhile, the cord stopped working and I figured it broke. I didn't think anything of it and shut down my laptop and went to bed. Upon turning it on the next morning, I was no longer connected to WiFi and there were "no connections" available. I tried troubleshooting on my phone, but to no avail. I couldn't turn on my WiFi, the option was grayed out. I tried everything! Refreshing it to an earlier update, downloading drivers from Dell.com on a different laptop and trying to reinstall them through a USB adapter, reinstalling windows and resetting the BIOS. Nothing worked! When I try to download an Ethernet driver it said "Deep Sleep mode is enabled please plug the cable". I am at my wits end here. I can connect to WiFi through a USB LAN card, but sometimes it is so extremely slow that I want to give up. Is there anything else I can try or is this a lost cause?

Is the physical RFkill switch turned off?

Disable Deep Sleep in the BIOS.

As far as I can tell, there is no physical switch. just the Fn and F2 key to turn the WiFi on/off which doesn't work.

And how do I disable deep sleep? I have been in the BIOS and loaded optimal defaults and the problem still exists.
