Acer Aspire 7741G-6426 Model MS2309/MS2310; InviLink Nplify IEEE 802.11 b/g/n drivers needed; Windows 7 Professional 64-bit OS.
I can't tell from Acer support page for my laptop which modem/hard-wire/wireless thingies I have:
Atheros, Broadcom, or Intel
Does anyone know how I can determine exactly which modem/hard-wire/wireless thingies I have?
Windows will not tell; Acer support area will not tell me.
Can I remove the back of the laptop and see something? If so, what do I look for, where do I look for it on the mobo?
I spent two days shofar, and I get kicked off of wireless constantly, and there no hard-wire period.

popeye, you're correct; I already posted in there also. I figured many Windows 8 fans also know lots about Windows 7 which they ran earlier.

I've forgotten a lot of 7 specific issues.

Go to Device Manager and click on your adapter, then properties, then details. Search for the hardware id online. Should tell you what you have.
