Hi all,
I have a tablet with Windows 8 and is used in a specific situation where the touchscreen will not be used. It is used as a display with one input device: a barcode scanner. (This way of working is a solution offered by one of our suppliers).
Is there a way to set up the tablet that it will power on when it's connected to AC? And also power off when it's not connected to AC (and so it's using battery)? This instead of pressing the power-button.
For 'power on', I was hoping that the BIOS of my tablet had an option 'power on when connected to AC', but can't find it. I think it's not supported by my tablet (the tablet is a 'Terra' tablet)
Or is it possible to power the tablet on and off from distance, with another device (phone, pc,...)
It's hard to find a solution on the internet, maybe someone here can help me?
Thanks!
Isabel
