Solved Keyboard messing up and unable to fix it

I really need help with this. Here's the issues that's happening; after putting my computer to sleep for an hour, it was still working perfectly fine the whole time. It was safe in my bag, and as far as I know it hadn't been banged or anything. When I turned my laptop back on, all of the sudden the backspace doesn't want to work without me holding it down hard to go back; otherwise, it's randomly typing the equals sign before disappearing. I can't even type the equals symbol in, it's also doing the same thing of backspacing if I hold it. So now my equals button and backspace buttons are mapped to do the same thing. Whenever I type the colon symbol ( ; ), it'\s popping up the volume control but not moving it up or down. And whenever I press \the Enter button, it randomly adds the slash button (as you can see in my attempt to add it, it's randomly adding itself to the previous sentences.) and enters it as such.\
\\
To add to this, the directional buttons are messed up as well. Pressing up moves the keyboard cursor up and then adds the slash, pressing left doesn't want to work. It acts like it moves, then jumps the type cursor right back to its original position. And pressing right adds the ] instead of moving, so now it's acting like the ] button. \

Has anyone else encountered this problem...? Please tell me that this is solvable...

I have no idea how it happened. Then again, after I plugged in my USB keyboard and tested to see if it'd have the same issues (it didn't), it suddenly fixed itself five minutes afterwards. Gremlins... Or plugging in a USB keyboard helps set the bindings back in place. I couldn't tell you.
