Solved Empty Drives in Explorer

I see a setting to Hide Empty Drives in the Explorer Navigation Pane.

Is there a way to hide empty drives in the right pane??

That hides the empty drives in the Navigation Pane.
I'd like to hide them in the right pane. I'm not sure what the right pane is referred to as.

Anyway, I found some nice file and folder apps from the store that are very configurable.
Never realized these app were present.

Odd. It should hide the drives in the main part of your "This PC" windows as well as in the navigation pane.

But is it normal for the empty drives to show in the right pane even though I've hide them in the left pane?

Go ahead and post a screenshot showing this to help make sure we're both thinking the same thing, but yeah empty removable drives shouldn't show on the right side in This PC either.

I must admit that I'm not sure why they are still showing.

It's not normal. When you have Windows set to hide empty drives, they should be hidden in both the navigation pane and main (right side) in the "This PC" window.

I run SFC everyday and it finds no integrity concerns.

Not sure what to make of this.

I has show hidden files, folders and drives checked.
Apparently the empty drive will show if it is checked.

I unchecked it, and the empty drives vanished.
Once you said it isn't normal I figured it was a setting I had in Explorer or something worse.
