    No need for a new Motherboard. Just add a PCIe card for USB 3.1
    Shipping in April.

    Now just to find something to plug in it. USB standard came out 1990 but there were scarcely any devices to use them on it for next 10 years. Even 3.0 devices don't have very large part of market.

I need a firewire port for my video camera, and was curious if anyone has a suggestion for an inexpensive solution of an available card and driver that works well on Windows 8.
Anybody know of a beta-driver for USB3 and a Z77 Intel chipset? (on a MSI mobo) My USB3 is so sloow compared to same port in Windows 7. My daily backup of files, drawings and reports takes a LOT of time. This might be a windows 8 killer, if Intel and MS can't solve it.
