    Hi GMan,

Because, when I attempted to change to it active, I got message that my OS drive would no longer be active and it would not boot there.
Certainly did not want to not be able to boot.

This may not be the best "fix", but it does work.

    Take care...........

Changing the drive to how I said would definitely not affect the other drives and their current active partitions.

You misunderstood the program's warning or were attempting to do something wrong.

It was probably warning you in case there was an OS on that drive.

Glad you sorted though. Recommend NTFS.

Type msinfo32 in the start menu then press Enter. File | save on the opened screen. Zip the saved file then attach it here.

I would suggest converting your newly formatted FAT32 volume to NTFS and running a chkdsk. To convert the volume use:

    1. Open an Administrative Command prompt
    2. Type - convert E: /fs:ntfs - Where E is the volume identifier.

    For the chkdsk:

    1. Open an Administrative command prompt
    2. Type - chkdsk /f

If it suggests the volume is locked, choose the option to schedule the chkdsk for the next boot. You can 'unmount' the volume manually, but it's better if the process runs at boot time.
