**EDIT**This was never solved just ending been to long to replies
I have a new WD HDD Green 1Tb. I connected it to my laptop and it was reading fine. I then later moved it over to a test PC I to transfer some old documents onto. when I connected it, nothing happened. didn't read the drive at all. I checked diskmgmt.msc, not reading at all. But when I move it back over to my laptop, It would sync just fine.
I was not using the same connection when switching from laptop to tower, on the tower however when connected to motherboard will not read at all. When not connected (via motherboard SATA port) and using just a USB to SATA cable it works fine. I have tried other HDD and yes they work just fine when connected to the Tower using the SATA ports on the motherboard.
Any Ideas why?
