Greetings,

There are two "Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Adapters" seen in Device Manager ............ one says the device was deleted in October of 2014. The other oneis called "Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter #2" and though enabled says it is disconnected and must be connected. I have no idea how to do this. Also, an acquaintance of mine, who also has Win 8.1, "sees" a second Microsoft Wi-Fi adapter called "Microsoft Hosted Network Vlirtual Adapter" and also a "Hyper-v Virtual Ethernet Adapter #2" He sees these when he does a ipconfig/all and I do not.

Any ideas on how to "connect" the device and thoughts on the "missing" objects ?

Best Wishes,

Rick
