So i called ASUS support, and I will have to send it to service.

So i think I'll have to close this thread (without mark as solved)

This will not help now but.....

As an IT professional, we are always wiping pre-configured systems to install our own operating systems. This is a very common practice.

If we receive a system with the same operating system (maybe not the same version though..Pro instead of Enterprise) we always take
snapshots of the Device Manager and notate the versions of the drivers and the names of the hardware listed.

OEM's spend a lot of time getting their systems working. Many times, the versions on their websites are for upgrade purposes
and may not be the driver that was actually installed when you received the unit.

By having a snapshot of all the drivers on hand, if and when we encounter problems like yours (and it does happen) we go back
to make sure we are installing the right named driver and the right version.

Just some helpful advice if you find yourself in this same position again in the future.

Members with Recovery Partition of ASUS TP300LA

    Hi Vasquez,
have ASUS TP300LA purchased 16DEC2014 with UK-English settings. see below. Click image for larger version
dont know how legal it is to share the recovery partition, but can try.

    my REAL problem is,
NEED to dual boot with a 32 bit OS, either Win 8(1) or Win 7 Ultimate, or even XP Pro sp3, which I have, with original product keys.
This is on account of third party software from the year 2000, which actually runs on 16 bit platforms, so am running it on Virtual Box with XP sp3 with a myriad of problems and slowed computer response times.
Just do NOT know how to get the TP300LA to recognize and allow booting from 32 bit USB or USB-DVD.
If I ever get as frustrated as you did and run to GPT, I shall NEVER want that Recovery Partition, so you are indeed welcome to it.
Till then, and if Admins permit, (dont worry about ASUS helplines, they are tardy), we can carry this conversation outside this forum (I have no desire to be thrown out with my FIRST post).
