Transfering Drivers from SSD to HDD

    Hi Guys,

I'm having problems with my SSD drive. The SSD drive causes a very slow boot time and also my computer won't fully shut down. My question is how can I transfer my Driver files from the SSD drive to my HDD drive??

I've used a product known as Driver Backup. It allows you to back up a copy of all your current drivers to a folder, with a folder inside for each of your drivers. Copy that to a USB stick and when you get the SSD version installed, you can restore your drivers from those folders.

    md c:\drivers

    Dism /Online /Export-Driver /Destination:C:\Drivers

run those two commands from command Prompt(admin)

And your system drivers will now be in the Drivers Folder

To add those drivers to your new system

    Dism /online /Add-Driver /Driver:c:\Drivers /Recurse

Instead of transferring, why don't you simply install the latest drivers? This would ensure you have the latest and they are properly configured for your current hardware configuration.

It is not likely your SSD is causing the slow boot time - unless it is faulty.

That's what I was about to post. Before doing anything drastic, I'd run some diagnostics on the SSD first. or, at the very least, test it's performance, and that your BIOS is set to AHCI.
