Unkown device in device manger and can't be uninstalled

Recently i noticed that i have an unkown device in my device manager, its hardware id is "PCI\VEN_1414&DEV_0004&SUBSYS_00041414&REV_00", which seems to be a usb host simulator.
But what on earth is it? I can't delete it, after deleting, it will appear again.

If you right click on it then click Properties it should show the name of the driver. I'm not familiar with it. But deleting will just cause Windows to reinstall the device. I would find out what the driver is for before uninstalling.

Also "if it ain't broke don't fix it" is usually a good rule of thumb to follow.

What you're seeing: Windows is detecting a Plug and Play device but it can't find a driver for it. So, it's getting listed under "Other" devices. Right clicking the device doesn't help because Windows just redetects the device, tries (again) to find a driver for it and can't so it appears (again) under "Other" device.

So now let's figure out what the heck it is/might be. I also found the ID seems to indicate a USB Host simulator (which is odd). Have you added any new devices?? In Device Manager, (along the top) click View->Devices by Connection and show me a screen shot. Since it's an odd device, i first want to see how it connects to your h/w (and if it's a real or virtual device)

It's not connected the physical bus. That confirms suspicion that it may be a virtual device. I never heard of DsfRoot for DSF either. Will have to do some googling. Will post back tomorrow. Time for bed here. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

This has something to do with a USB Host controller. Possible any USB Hubs on system. This is odd, reference shows it as old use, back to Windows XP. Yes believe it is like a virtual device possibly . Not much Google info to go by.
Device Simulation Framework Reference (Windows Driver Kit)

Possible whatever not compatible if Windows not able to find anything for it.

Or something that is part of system, but not hooked up right now, another possible reason it shows this way.

But the weird part is that I can't delete it. After deleting,it will show up again if I refresh device manager. If it's a virtual device. Why can't I delete it ?
