So, recently, I bought myself a wired Xbox 360 controller for my PC, and plugged it into the USB.
Device Setup came up looking like this, and has been frozen in this state for a few hours now.

Does anyone have a solution for this?
I'm semi-new to this kind of thing, so if I missed out on a few steps, please let me know.

Unplug the controller, reboot, after logging back in, open Device Manager, show hidden items, remove the Xbox controller, reboot again. Then go to microsoft.com and download the drivers from there, then install, reboot, and you should be fine.
