    Intel 82562v ethernet adapter driver

Intel doesn't support this adapter anymore, upon boot I've got to fix the problems as admin before I can get on to my network. Has anyone got the right drivers for windows 8 CPE 64 bit?

See if this helps at all - Find the subkey for it at this location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services

Change the REG_DWORD for Start to 3 if it is not already. Reboot and test.

    -------

If you don't know its service name, right click it in Device Manager. Properties. Details tab. Change the dropdown to say Service. Look at the results.

I only see REG_SZ no REG_DWORD here, it's set to (default), should I change it?

You could take a screenshot and attach it. It should be the DWORD. If not, maybe you can make it - but I can only advise based on what I see.

Here's a sample of my adapter:

You have to go down now and click on e1express subkey to see the start value in the right pane.

    No, everything is well there.

Instead of troubleshooting all this and that, the easiest way to fix things up is to disable the DNS service and then set the adapter to have a static ip address.

When done, use CCleaner to clean the files and registry.

If I do that my internet-connection fails, that's not the solution to my problem, thanks anyway.

Yes, it is. If static ip address fails, you're doing it wrong.

    You're welcome.

In addition, if you have 3rd party firewall installed, I would uninstall it.
