Usb Hub keeps reconnecting devices while gaming on Win 8.1

    Greetings.
Got weird issue with my usb hub D-Link dub-h7 on iMac 27" 2013 ME089 running bootcamped Win 8.1 x64. Whenever I play games and alt-tabing to windows, system keeps reconnecting all my devices with typical "reconnect" sound for this. Playing MMO is horror atm because I need alt-tab a lot and everytime I do that - windows keeps reconnecting all stuff (hooked usb keyboard and phone charge atm). Devices like X7 mouse resets its speed light profile and keyboard may lag, even without playing game.
Tried to update 8.1 to latest version and use some tweaks from internet like turning off devices power saving, but nothing helped.

Found out that I'm not really the only one with such problems and Windows 7 doesn't have this issue, but unfortunatelly can't go back to 7.

Hope someone can help me with this... Thanks

    Hi dezmen3!

This issue could be caused by a few things.
First thing that comes to mind is that the USB hub may not be supplying enough power to all the devices connected to it. Usually, connecting devices that require more power through the hub is not recommended, as they might not receive enough power to work properly. Usually a powered hub is more desired. One that has it's own power supply.
Are your USB drivers up to date?
Have you tried another main USB port to connect the hub in? Are you sure it hasn't suffered any kind of damage?
Another idea is to manage your power options in Windows 8.1. It's true that the new feature in Windows8.1. about power saving is making some problems and if you've disabled it, then that shouldn't be the cause. Still, you could look around and tweak your power options a bit more.
Go to Control Panel Hardware and Sound Power Options. Depending on your certain configuration, you may find something that changing it would help.

    Best of luck!

Already turned off any power saving for usb, nothing helps. This usb is powered with external power supply.

I am sorry none of the above could help you. The problem then is most likely in the USB hub itself, if not,it could also be the configuration you have Windows on iMac. You could try using Windows on PC with the hub or the USB hub through the iMac under OS X.
The other thing you could do is contact Apple support about bootcamped Windows and if it affects external devices:

I hope you solve your problem!
    Best of luck!

For a test, can you take the hub out of circuit and connect directly to the computer? That will eliminate the hub, extra cables, and extra distance as the problem.

Well before hub everything were fine. Mouse, keyboard and usb audio attached to PC and worked fine. If I keep just hub connected without usb devices in it - it still gonna do reconnect bug

Then it sounds obvious - you need to get rid of that hub. With no devices connected to it, it is still presenting a load on the computer's USB circuits - a load your computer does not seem to like. You can try a different powered hub. If the problem is still there, then it is your computer balking. If the problem goes away, then you know the first hub was the problem.

Well hub itself works well, and I heard that this is common issue on 8.1, 7 users says it's fine O_o No chance to test it on 7 atm

Well, you can find common problems withe very OS, and they're quite unpleasant most times. But since you said without the hub you were fine, then like I said above, the problem is most likely in it.
    @Intaregid explained it further.
If you can't test the hub on Windows 7,you could find a different hub to test on your computer to know for sure where the problem lies.

    Best of luck!

    Well hub itself works well
From your description of the problem, no it doesn't.

FTR, my self-powered USB hub works perfectly on this W8.1 system.
