Hello I just recieved a new cp from HP it came with 10 gigs of ram it can take 32 so I have taken out the 2 gig stick and put in an 8 gig both in the blue (2 x 8) slots what should I do with the 2 gig stick ? and should I buy another 2 gig stick and put them in the white slots ? Thank you for your time I have AMD A-8 6600K Mother board with 4 slots 2 blue and 2 white I put 2x 8 gig s of ram in blue slots and have a 2 gig left so I was just wondering if it would slow the cp down or not have any benifit if I put the 2 gig in one of the white slots ?

So you have 4 memory slots on that MB ? Which MB is that ? in your specs you put your CPU in the place of MB. If you have 4 slots you can try adding that extra RAM in one of them and see if it would "take" I think it should.

Unless you are going to be running it as a VM server or doing video editing. There is no need to go with 32gb of RAM.
