All the info on the last official version of truecrypt says its safe if you still have it use it there is no harm in doing so, its just not supported anymore that is all, there message about it not being safe did not mean you could not use it. read this page for info Is TrueCrypt dead? ? Ask Leo!

All the info? The first thing it says on the site is that it's not safe. But I'm not looking for hardcore protection like this other dude keeps going on about. Thanks for the link.

Why would I walk away from my own question? You're the one who came here and provided no real information at all. You can't read. Asshole. GO AWAY. If you're not here to help my noob butt, don't just sit there and tell me advanced users can access my HDD's, I know that. Good for them. Has NOTHING to do with what I'm asking. How many times have I repeated myself only to get nonsense back from you? ****ing moron.

This is the first I've seen this. Seems like it should have been publicized more. I'm not sure I want Microsoft or anyone else holding my encryption keys. Luckily, this only applies to computers with a TPM, which I don't have. Do you? Windows 8.1 Will Start Encrypting Hard Drives By Default:...
Been googling this for the last hour, and I still can't install a game via a virtual drive; keep getting "Windows cannot access specificed device, path, or file. You may not have appropriate permissions to access". Using Win8 Checked the Cdrom registry key to see if it was disabled (it's not),...
