My computer can't boot after uninstalling chipset driver

My computer has been getting BSOD problem related to intel rapid storage, so i ended up uninstalling the driver and i think i also uninstalled the chipset driver. Now, my computer cant boot.
Any idea how to fix this?

That is a common error with Windows 8.x I am guessing that Windows Vista or 7 was previously installed on the machine. As for fixing it, can you get into Safe mode? Have you checked your laptop mfg's website, to see if they have an updated version of the driver?

the problem is now i can get my computer to boot since the driver is missing. Is reinstalling windows the only solution? Or can i install the missing driver without get into the windows?

Yes you would have to reinstall the driver and would have to get into the OS through Safe mode. Otherwise, you are talking a repair install, which can affect some settings you have made. But would not wipe out any software installed.

Have you got a Win 8 disk or is there a recovery partition on your laptop? I don't own a laptop but I think you can boot to the recovery partition through the bios. Sometimes hitting F8 many times can bring up the safe mode option.
This might be an interesting read for Acer laptops
