Something I have not given much thought to up to now, but today, whilst eating out, I wanted to have a look at the news headlines. Opened phone and surfed to news headlines. I was in a 'wifi cloud' pub eating lunch. My browser, chrome, refused to let me open them as it said the 'Cloud' was not safe and people will steal your details. Strange, it had been doing this recently but usually I could got online. Tried again, same result, Chrome would not let me surf. So I tried the android built in browser - 'browser' is all its says. Same result.

So I installed Opera Mini for Android and within seconds I was surfing the net happily after I had informed opera that it was to carry on.

I have AVG security and android malwarebytes in the phone, maybe its one of them? :eek:

Indeed. But if cloud is so unsafe, why does opera allow it? I might try FF for android, see what happens with that.

On my android tablet I use Oprea Mini Mainly for it's speed. Chrome for everything else :) .
