MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ8A0AS ATA Device Drivers Download for Windows 7, 8, XP, Vista

I also have never had to change CD/DVD drivers. If you go to device manager and find the DVD right click and select uninstall. The current version of the driver will uninstall a reboot will reinstall the driver native to windows?

Put the new drivers somewhere easy to find. Go to device Manager, right click the DVD select update driver browse to your driver location.

My DVD ROM drive is not working properly. It reads DVDs and burn them but it doesn't detect blue rays. I sent it in to Asus three times now and I can get down to change the DVD ROM. I get an RMA. When My systemgets there This last time they tell me that it wasn't an Asus product so they just send it back to me. I called them again just got another RMA for the fourth time to change my DVD ROM. I just want to make sure I have that driver. Or maybe once they put the new ROM It will detect the correct driver that I'm looking for, which is my original matshita DVD-RAM UJ8A0AS . They keep telling me that my system doesn't play blue Rays. I had my system for two years, so would know whether or not it plays them. Big problem with Asus but thanks to you guys for all the help.

Have you thought about trying DriverMax(it's free)? Just make sure you custom install, so you don't get a new homepage or toolbar. How many times have you changed the region? If you change the region 5 times, its pretty much useless. You will have to replace it. Good Luck
