How to disable 'scanning your device'?

A couple days ago, somehow, I turned on 'scanning your device' and now I get a black screen every time I plug my phone into the USB port to charge it. I'm trying to figure out how to disable this 'feature'. It's really annoying because the connection is a bit worn, and it keeps connecting and disconnecting...connecting and disconnecting...connecting and disconnecting...connecting and disconnecting...connecting and disconnecting...connecting and disconnecting...connecting and disconnecting...connecting and disconnecting...connecting and disconnecting...

I don't want anything to happen when I plug the phone into the USB port.

Thanks.

Thank you, but that didn't work. This is pretty bad. If a gently breeze blows, the phone could move, and connection is so tenuous, that it jumps to that startup screen. I don't even know how it got turned on, but there must be a way to turn it off. This was never a problem, until about 2 weeks ago.

Any other ideas? I don't even know what this is called.

Thanks.
