Unable to install Wi-Fi driver on recently bought laptop.

Hi everyone.
I recently bought a new Dell laptop last month.
It's model is the Inspiron 3437 and it's running on Windows 8.1.
The problem I have with it is that I can't turn on the Wi-Fi, this issue has been here since I bought the laptop. The only way I am able to access the internet is via cable, but this makes having a laptop really inconvenient as I intend to use it for reporting purposes.
The laptop had Ubuntu installed but I got it replaced with Windows 8.1.
I tried downloading the proper drivers for it, and the was only one that failed to install, which would be the Dell Wireless 1705 802.11b/g/n, BT4.0+HS Driver, as shown below.
driverwontinstall.png Driver won't install nodriverfound.png No Wi-Fi Driver nowifi.png Can't detect any wireless networks whatsoever.

I tried installing it but when I do, it runs and in the middle of installing it, it just exits.
The manual states that the Wi-Fi could be turned on if you press the Fn Key + F2 at the same time, but this does nothing as I don't have a driver yet, but what can I do? I can't seem to install the proper driver for this laptop.
I already sought help from Dell's support community but I haven't received a single answer for weeks.
Please help me find a solution for this problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

I forgot to post the log after the failure of the installation of the driver.
Here it is, it's quite long so please bare with me:

log data

According to that error log the 1st install has not been completed because a reboot is required,
have you actually rebooted??, the other errors state cannot install due to previous install waiting to complete.

Yes, I have tried rebooting the system many times.
Actually, that one was a result of opening the driver installer twice.
Since one was already running, the other just closes and gives me the "Restart Required" one.

In the middle pic above there is also something going on with "Airplane Mode Switch Collection". No idea what that is or if it has something to do with the problem.

You've also got a virtual adapter installed. What is that for?

Asus RT-AC56R dual-band WRT router (Merlin firmware). Intel 7260.HMWWB.R dual-band ac wireless adapter.
As mentioned, the Wireless adapter is not installed in Network adapters. The logmein adapter seems to be for remote access and should be removed if it is not used. Dell used to include a Resource CD that contained the drivers for a machine but it usually was lost so I go to Support | Dell US , plug in the Service Tag number [label on bottom of case or maybe in the BIOS] to download the proper drivers.

Berton, what you said was exactly what I did. I downloaded the drivers that came up.

The other 2 seemed to be perfectly fine but the Wi-Fi one won't install no matter what I do, and this has been a pain for over a month now.

Windows 8/8.1 has an airplane mode for laptops. It shuts off the WIFI and Bluetooth to make using your laptop on a plain safe. My ASUS laptop has it and I need to install a utility "Wireless Radio Control" to make it work correctly. Airplane Mode just lets you turn them both off with the one setting in the charms bar.

In the middle pic above there is also something going on with "Airplane Mode Switch Collection". No idea what that is or if it has something to do with the problem.

You've also got a virtual adapter installed. What is that for?

Windows 8/8.1 has an airplane mode for laptops. It shuts off the WIFI and Bluetooth to make using your laptop on a plain safe. My ASUS laptop has it and I need to install a utility "Wireless Radio Control" to make it work correctly. Airplane Mode just lets you turn them both off with the one setting in the charms bar.

I know what Airplane Mode is, I have it, just no device like that. Kinda glad I don't have an Asus or Dell.
