HHD problem

Hi there I have bough an external partition driver to make a Bootable partion but while I was converting I take out the usb cable from the computer and then when I plug it to the computer again it didn't detect even in the device manager or disk management but the light on it still turn on . Anyone have solution with that ? Thank you .

I am not sure if I understand your question completely. If you really mean the USB cable for the front panel USB port then double check on the connector. On some mother board, there is a serial port connector which the pins are the same as for the USB, make sure you connect to the right connector otherwise you might do some damage to the MB.

If you mean the sata cable then check the other end of the cable and make sure it is plugged in tightly.
