If so, please tell me the make and model of the touch screen. It seems what worked with the Dev version doe snot work with CP. Planar tech support says Microsoft removed in in W8CP. So now I can drag but that is it - not even selecting/choosing works now.

Just want to hear if anyone has a working touch screen on their PC with windows 8 CP.

I have been trying to get an ELO touch screen monitor to work with Windows 8, but noooooo. A diagnostic utility verifys the monitor is working. So I am thinking the functionality must not be in CP.

I have a HP 500 Slate and the touch screen works fine, in fact the handwriting recognition is awesome! It even recognizes my bad handwriting!

I'm using a Dell ST2220T with no problems. The CD that comes with it installs fine in Win 8 64-bit (probably 32-bit as well)

I'm using an HP TouchSmart IQ505 and it works FLAWLESSLY with Windows 8! I utilized these drivers to get the touchscreen to work as a 2-point system as the stock Windows 8 drivers only had it functioning as a single point system!

Hey bud I have the same setup, Windows 8 on my IQ500 series all in one. I installed the drivers and had to manually find the intel 965 drivers for the display but the touch is still not working. Is there anyway you can help me out to try to make the touch work. maybe, if you can send me the drivers for it. It'l be much appreciated. Thanks.

Installed what drivers? I installed Windows 8, albeit on an IQ505 (your model may be different), and all drivers required were included in Windows. The touch screen worked just fine right after install. It only worked with one touch input though. To get two-point working, I had to install the driver from Next Window. Just last week I was perusing their website to try to see if they had updated their driver, as after installing it, the onscreen keyboard got very very small and was unusable. They no longer have the driver available on their website!!! I don't know why, but I have it stored at home if you'd like it, just send me a PM and I will send it to you!

Also, if you seem to think your touch screen is always touching in the top-left corner, you can do a hardware calibration by tapping the scroll lock 5 times quickly. You'll hear a beep and your mouse cursor will move. Touch the mouse cursor everywhere it moves until it's finished in the middle. This has saved me a few times when I couldn't get it to work!

And yes, I have the 965 video card! I didn't have to install anything though as I had NO yellow exclamation marks in the device manager after bootup of Windows 8 and running all the Windows Updates, etc! Touchscreen driver was the only thing I had to install!

It won't pop up as a video card, by the way. It will a a Human Interface Device (HID), and then NextWindow Multitouch Device should be listed under there!
