CPU Microcode Update

Hello all, recently I posted about my Kernel-Processor-Power Event ID 37 issue that has been plaguing my laptop for a'while now. I decided to take a look at my laptops manufacturers driver support page to see if I could find anything there might help me.

This is what I found: Screenshot (12).png

I already have the 205 BIOS ver. installed, so, would the newer 207 update help me fix my processor issue?
If anyone has a suggestion, please respond.

Thank You in Advance.

Wouldn't hurt to try, does the new BIOS specifically list any changes to CPU microcode in changelog?

    Huh?
That's a problem too, there seems to be no changelog within the .rar file or on the driver support page.

My processor keeps under-clocking itself to 2.4Ghz while i'm playing games. My CPU model is a i7 4700HQ, as for my motherboard, I do not know. It is whatever the ASUS G750JS-DS71 use's.

Well, i'm officially getting help tomorrow with installing my new BIOS. However, I notice there being a even newer one, and I was wondering if the newer BIOS contained the contents of the older update. To be more specific, the contents of BIOS ver.'207'. Are the update cumulative, or do I have to install '207' first then '208', or do I just install 208?

Please respond as soon as possible.

Here's a picture for specificity.Screenshot (15).png

Long time now BIOSes can be upgraded straight to newest unless it's advised specifically.

There's no change-log, or readme, or anything within or outside of the .rar files that the
BIOS updates come in the form of, so I pretty much have no idea what i'm getting into.

Also, i'm slightly confused as to why the newer updates files size is smaller than that of the older update if it apparently holds the contents of the said older update.

Just worried that this newer one might not have the stuff I need. If anyone has an idea as why the newer update is smaller than the older one, please respond.

Thank you in advance.

I've just received help and I can't tell whether or not there's a difference. I Installed the 208 BIOS, but I cannot tell whether or not the microcode has been updated, and the only source I just found with any information about 207 and 208 has been coincidentally compromised.

If anyone wants to add anything that may help, please do so.
