slow wifi speeds when ram stick installed on asus s500ca

Yes I got an asus s500ca ultrabook and it comes with 4gb onboard ram and has a slot for 4 more. So I installed a stick of kingston system specific ram and my wifi speeds dropped for like 2 days I thought it was the internet being a douche. Then I tested it using my phone desktop and brothers laptop and it was fine I was getting less then 1mbps when I should be getting 30mbps. I opened it up took the ram stick out booted back up ran a speed test got 32mbps lol So I put the ram chip back in same process got less then 1mbps. Did this 3 times.. Does anyone know what would cause this? It dont compute to me lol
