Anyone use a Windows 8 tablet to do Video Editing?

I bet some users use there Windows 8 tablet for video editing like for Youtube(Vlogs\Gaming channel, etc) with something like Movie Maker.
I am wondering does anyone use there Windows 8 tablet to do video editing? and what video editor do you use on your Windows 8 tablet?

I use my 11.6 inch Acer Iconia W700(I5 core) to edit my videos with Movie Maker and upload my videos to Youtube.

I am just curious if anyone do video editing on there Windows 8 Tablet.

And can somebody tell me can a Windows 8 tablet with a Atom CPU like the Dell Venue Pro (8, 11)/ Lenovo Mixx 2 (8, 10) can handle tasks like video editing?

    Hi there.

The Surface Pro 3 works fine -- but plugged into an external monitor -- and using a docking station so essentially it's really a PC. !!!

I can't imagine doing a lot of Video editing without a mouse and keyboard although touch is actually quite useful for pausing, slow forward, re-wind, single frame etc. - Much more useful than I would have ever thought - but you need it in conjunction with "classical devices". Use Touch on the surface pro's screen of course - not your huge expensive eternal monitor.

Touch is actually quite useful also on Photoshop surprisingly enough - especially when moving layers around --although not a true "video editing" program it's sophisticated enough to be classed as such.

    Cheers

I wouldn't waste my time with anything other than Surface Pro 3 i5. It doesn't come cheap, but it's well worth it.

I've used "Movie Edit Touch 2" (avail on the Windows Store) on my Dell Venue 8 pro to tack a few short clips together and cut out some scrap. it worked OK and did the job reasonably quickly. I wouldn't want to tackle anything serious or complex on a low resource tablet.

Hey guys, Today I purchased the Action! screen recorder to record my gaming at 60fps, however I found that my video editing software (Camtasia Studio) cannot render in 60fps. So I was just wondering, does anyone know a free (or cheap) piece of software that can render AVI files recorded from...
Hey guys, I've been having this issue with my PC for the last 6 months or so. I attributed it to an aging graphics card but had a rude awaking when I purchased and installed a new GPU yesterday and the problem still persisted. The issue didn't bother me too much as I don't game too often but...
I'm coming to the end of my rope here. Win8.1 32bit OS. My audio/video editing needs are relatively simple, yet I only seem to find programs which are insultingly simplistic and don't offer the functions I need; needlessly overly complicated, or they do not work just right and are literally...
