Solved HP printer problems (solved)

You saved me from two things.

1. Going back to Win 7.
2. The expense of buying a Win 8 compatible printer because I just love Win 8.

I am having printer HP LaserJet P1007....first it used to give the error message "Printer couldn't print...." and document went to printer pool, while printing in Win8, although the driver was being installed without any problem. After following your suggestion, neither error message comes on the screen nor the document goes to the printer pool, just it stops working.

While trying to install my HP OfficeJet Pro 8500A Plus, I get errors saying that it's not compatible with Windows 8. When I try to print I receive the error 2360. I don't want to have to purchase another printer, as I just purchased this one. HELP!

Go here and type in your printer and then select either 32 bit or 64 bit OS - download the latest drivers for windows 7 - there are other options eg firmware extra if you cant get anything else to work: HP Support & Drivers | Australia

Read the software, and driver troubleshooting link, as this can be crucial.

Briefly to get rid of that install error :To install a driver/program in compatibility mode - right click the setup.exe file - click properties - click compatibility - check run in compatibility with W7 - check run as administrator - leave the rest blank. Start setup.exe and install.
