Im thinking on loading my windows 8 laptop (factory) with a windows 7 SSD, but whenever i look for drivers FOR my laptop on the HP site, its only showing windows 8 drivers avaliable, is there any site that would help me that are GOOD, i know alot of sites such as "driverguru, driversftp, driverdownload.." would have the drivers but could ALSO be malicious..

I don't know why you want to degrade to W7, you can easily make W8.1 look and feel almost same and your W7 drivers are always going to be a problem. I never run into anything malicious from those "drivers sites" except for them trying to push some other software along with drivers. If manufacturer does not have drivers you need, it means other drivers you find are either altered by someone and therefore untrusty or just relabeled W8 to win7 because most drivers are down compatible.
Did you try Win7 readiness tool.

If HP doesn't have the drivers you'll have to hunt them up one by one. Go to AMD/ATI for Windows 7 video drivers. If your sound is Realtek, go there for sound drivers, etc.

Ugh, it does happen sometimes, I tend to blame it on inappropriate drivers.
Maybe if you make a new thread in

[h=2]Windows Updates & Activation[/h]It would grab attention of a guru in that field.
