Hi, can you help me to find a signed GENERIC Synaptics driver for Windows 8 32-bit - not released by an OEM but released by Synaptics itself. The latest one v17.0.19 is not properly signed so I am looking for another one.

What brand is your touchpad?

If Synaptics, then install the latest 16.3.15.1 driver at the link below to see if that may help. OEMs rarely have the latest driver versions available at their site.

This is what I mean. The latest version 17.0.19 is not signed and windows refuses to install it but the version 16.3.15.1 is signed and there is no problems with it.

Back when I posted that, 16.3.15.1 was the latest version, but that is the same link for the latest 17.0.19 version now.

However, the version 16.3.15.1 works good for me. Thanks anyway

I know :) I meant that you posted that there is a newer version at that time, which was 16.3.15.1. I didn't mean the link exactly.However the v17.0.19 is not signed and Windows refuses to install it.
