Old HD Recovery lead to little to no Disk Space left

I have a computer with an Hard Drive (HD) capacity of 465GB, with 422GB remaining before this happened. I was doing a recovery of my old files from an old HD using Lucid Puppy. I did it twice, as the first recovered very little. After the second time, and a bit of an improvement, but during the second time the recovery stopped because there wasn't any space left. I exited and rebooted (since Lucid Puppy requires booting with it to work) and I saw that I had no more storage. I deleted the first folder from the first attempt (as most were copied in the second one), and I got back close to 80GB on my HD. The second folder is 83GB, and that's the total I expected, however that wouldn't have caused a great decrease in GBs. In fact, while the Windows/C: drive says 83GB, if you highlight the folders inside C:, you would get 150GB total which is mostly likely what I actually have used.

Something is wrong. Malwarebytes didn't see anything, nor did SUPERAntispyware. I thought about CCleaner, but that could only clean 800+MB. I have been doing attempts to fix the problem, such as turning off system protection, and going into safe mode. Nothing has worked. I have been given suggestions such as Disksavvy, which I don't know if that'll work, but also given the direction of decreasing the C and create and format a new partition, all of which I don't know how to do, nor am'I comforabtle doing it because this computer is new.

All I know is that C: drive says 83GB, inside the highlighted folders say 150GB, used out of 465GB total. I need help, someone please help me.

First you should check exactly what and where is placed, set to show hidden files and download and use one or both of these programs.
    Download Directory Hog - MajorGeeks
    Download Disk Savvy - MajorGeeks
When "salvaging" files it is not a rare occurrence that sizes and some other data is reported wrong.

Windows is preventing Hog from being used, but Savvy scanned my computer and the results are in the txt file below. Could you please check and see if I need to do anything? As you can see, the scan is saying that I'm still good on storage, and yet 83.5GB left of 465GB..?

These are result of Windows Diskcheck, are corrupted and there's not much you can do with them and can be deleted without problems:
    DIR found.000 155 5.51 GB 4.09 %
    DIR found.005 14 2.35 GB 1.74 %
    DIR found.004 13 384.87 MB 0.28 %
    DIR found.006 23 73.81 MB 0.05 %
    DIR found.003 6 460.50 KB < 0.01 %
    DIR found.002 2 193.73 KB < 0.01 %
    DIR found.001 2 26.58 KB < 0.01 %
What did you do with files that you managed to salvage ?

From the old HD? They were located in a folder called HD2, but very recently, I have moved them into their places/folders: music, pictures, and documents.

So I should go ahead and delete what you said in post #5?

Yes, delete those "Found.*" folders, those are just fragments left over from Chkdsk.
Now you might have some duplicate files all over the place. You could use something like this to find them and delete what you do not need: Download Duplicate Cleaner Free - MajorGeeks

Okay, I'll do that. But first, I'm having trouble finding the "found" folders I need to delete. Where do I find them using Disk Savvy?

In that text file you have path to them, you can go to "This PC" or File manager to find them and delete them from there. Just make sure that "Show Hidden files Folders and drives" is enabled and "Hide extensions for known file types" is not, I'm not sure if they are hidden or not.

These must be the files, or ones of them, that I can never find. I search found.000 for example, and it never found it. Even taking the address and running with that, it only results in "not accessible. access is denied."
