"repairing disk errors"

I would not recommend doing any repairs until all important data is salvaged and backed up. Any writing to the disk can overwrite it and make it next to impossible to retrieve. Now it's only up to that data importance of how to proceed. I would beg, borrow or buy a usb disk, make a Linux live USB boot disk and attempt to rescue as much data as possible.
Haven't tried this "Mini Tool Power Data Recovery" :Download MiniTool Power Data Recovery Free Edition - MajorGeeks But judging by it's features, it has Damaged Partition data recovery and Lost Partition recovery, unfortunately it has to be run from windows.
Out of this one :Download HDD Scan and Restoration Program - MajorGeeks a bootable rescue CD can be made and run out of it.
There's many more free or semi professional tools out there but at this time I would rather advise OP to take it to a pro to do it if his data is so important.

That's exactly what I suggested and since Macrium Rescue Disk is created with Windows 8 PE and does support both legacy and EUFI then you can use it to backup your data to an external drive within Windows environment instead of using Linux live Boot disk. Please read what I put in red on the screen shot. Obviously the disk is corrupted but it does not mean it can't be read. In addition, I only advise to run chkdsk after the fact that the data has been backed up.
