Hi all, I promise I've tried to research this problem a lot but still haven't found anything that works. I'm running Windows 8.1 and I'm trying to print from a network printer. One job is clogging the rest of the jobs and is stuck on "deleting" but won't ever get deleted. Others on the network are still able to print from the printer. So far I've tried:
The weird thing, actually, is that there was no folder "PRINTERS" when I go to /System32/spool. I know that deleting the files in there often fixes the problem, but I can't even find a PRINTERS folder. Maybe that's related. Let me know if any of you have any suggestions. Thanks!
- Clicking on "cancel" in the job queue
- Restarting the computer
- Restarting the printer
- Removing/re-adding the printer from Printers and Devices
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers
- Stopping/Restarting the Spool service in Task manager
- Looking for the files found in /System32/spool/PRINTERS
