Hi I have a similar problem if not the same ... I've tried ASUS K55A Qualcomm Atheros BlueTooth Driver 8.0.1.306 for Windows 8.1 64 bit ... and it does not work.

the various errors that I get when I try different drivers including the above, are they in the picture with numbers 1 and 2.

Does anyone have any idea how I can solve this problem?

The computer I have is an ASUS N56VM with windows 8.1.
There are also other drivers for other devices in the computer that can not be installed after windows 8.1 been installed. could it be that the bluetooth device require any other device works? such as support for hotkeys.

Problem Solved

Hello, Frixzon. Welcome to Windows EightForums.

Looks as though it may be something else other than the driver. Is the service started as per this answer? My Computers Bluetooth is not Discoverable - Microsoft Community

If it’s on, sometimes these work: Troubleshoot problems with Bluetooth enabled devices

I followed that sequence with everything going just as described until I tried to delete the passwords. No way can I get it to accept that . When I delete the passwords and press Apply it just puts them back in. Tried repeatedly every way. Suggestions very welcome! John In Thailand

I have an Asus laptop with Win 8.1 , an Asus Nexus 7 (brilliant!!) and Asus Zenfone 4.5 (new but CARE!!! sound loss regularly) My laptop sees all devices but wont allow any activity.
