My Canon MF4150 is directly connected to Win 8 machine via USB.
I was able to install printer using windows 7 driver. Win 8 can do scanning but is not able to print. I've tried to uninstall and install, change usb port from 1 to 2, nothing seems to be working. Printer connection seems to be good as Scan function is working.
Thank God, I installed win 8 in dual boot mode and can go back to my win 7. Without printer not working, it's hard to stay on Windows 8 (as this printer is shared with my other machines in home)
