Samsung all in one DP700A7D 3 weeks old, did recommended SW updates, now no touchscreen.

Spent hours on remote help with samsung, and apparently I know much more then them, and no solution, I don't think wiping a 3 week old computer and reinstalling everything is an option, could it be drivers, although I cannot find a driver for the samsung touchscreen, everything goes back to SW updates, which has no updates available.

very very frustrated...any help anyone?

thanks in advance

I checked the last update that I took, kb2933809-an 8.1 update... It still showed it as "pending restart" even though I had restarted the system several times by using the windows "restart". So, I decided to hard shutdown by holding down the power button for 5 seconds then restarted by pressing the power button. This time upon update the machine showed that it was completing the update. The update now shows as "succeeded" and my touch screen works again. Hope this helps you if you havn't already reset your machine.
