What is the best 7200 RPM HDD for laptops?

I am going to buy a 1 TB SSD for my laptop, I have 2 bays for hard drives on my laptop so I am thinking of replacing my Seagate 1 TB HDD 5400 RPM but don't know which is the best 7200 RP one to go for and if would be worth it?

Can't say if they are the best, but Hitachi's 7200's are well renowned. Have been using many of them (320's & 500's) for years with zero problems. My last addition, a 1TB works very well, & heat and noise is fine (but it's new here, got no long term user report).

Any 7200 is speedwise not a big revolution compared to a 5400, does feel somewhat snappier but if your current hd is ok, evaluate to keep it, especially as you'll get the large ssd which will probably do most of the active work and the hd will probably be mostly for storage.

...desktops too? I was wondering because perhaps I might get a desktop later on and decide I want to move the RAMs from the laptop into the desktop.
I am trying to add a Kingston SSD to my DV7T running windows 8. I cloned the drive that's in the computer with Acronis. I switched the drives the SSD as the primary drive and the old HD as secondary. When I booted the system it booted from the old drive. In windows the system sees the ssd as...
